Clay - do the mats have the coloured fleck in them, or all black?

All black Nathan. Have a look at recent post by sunny Tim. He did his own fleck job and looked great.

That's exactly the right pattern for the headlining. I thought it was unobtainium . . .

Sun visors couldn’t be done factory with the binding around the edge as a special machine is needed. He only overlapped the door tops a bit so as to allow for sticking the inner door seals to body. $600 with the material supplied by me (thanks to Rob FJ Wally).

I’m struggling with the door surround trim colour. Factory is a pukey light grey. I painted them in the silver metallic but not sure about it. The other option is body colour.

They probably should go on before the screen goes in and we have two warm days coming. Planning to paint steering wheel and shifter knob in the silver so could give the trims another coat I suppose. Otherwise I could stick original ones on from the van.

I have to thank FJ Wally for that Rob. He did the hard yards with SMS in the states. It is a small detail but means a lot to me. Now I have to get the paint to equivalent standard by jingo. While I was there I managed to get the last remnant of the mid blue long grain (not Roebuck as I previously thought) to line the top of the parcel tray. Only missing ingredient in the trim department now is front kick panels. I have a good pair of original door trims from the van which will match well, admittedly EK and therefore a slightly different pattern.

Bought a pair of kick panels, $33 delivered, with buttons. It will cost as much again to paint them no doubt.
