Also spoke to the trimmer and I should be getting the car up to him sometime next week.

Give these guys a call:

Pretty damn handy the few times I've had weird bulbs to find.

Bulbs for radios? Try me. All I need is a close-up photo of the bulb and approximate dimensions.

Thankj Harv and Rob. Of course. I've seen your style at swap meets Rob. Looks like I will need to pull it out now.

Got the tyres swapped so I can paint all the rims now. Anyone need set of 13x6 magnums for their LC LJ Torana?ImageImage

Hoping to finish these rims today but at the moment the humidity is about 68%. Sun is out and fingers crossed.

Marginal conditions at the outset with 18C and 62%. Shut the shed door and heater on. 40psi on 1.4mm full fan. Protec paraglaze acrylic urethane 2:1 + 10%. I can taste the nasties but I've got carbon and particle filter on now.

Paint is not tack dry after 20 minutes. Lucky I only mixed up half.

Bit of gentle encourage with the heat gun did it. Sitting over the oil column heater after second coat. Paint seems to have more green than blue looking at it in the tin.Image
