Shed extension done
Finally got some much needed time on the ute, engine at the machine shop
Steering fitted
Chassis done
And a spare for Neil

Diff centre kit ordered
Started on brake lines

Couple of updates
Mocked up the engine bay and interior
Just as well as the seat is too wide post trimming

Looking good - How did the seat end up too wide? Was it not the original frame?

Picked up the 283 from engine builders, will give it a run in the ute, has a nice little bump stick and KB pistons

Woody came round and we did a Little bit more on the ute, running fuel and brake lines
Bloody hot in the shed
Callipers up to Advanced Brakes for some love in the morning

Hard to see in the photos, but are the leaf spring u-bolts fitted with nylocks? I got pinged by the engineer for only having single nuts, and had to go back and refit spring washers.
That brake master and prop valve is pretty sexy.

Will be interesting to see how it brakes as I’m not intending to run a booster, have one just in case. Have a local crew here called Advanced Brakes that are a great help. Sorted my hotrod for me.
No they are just new nuts, single at this stage as I’m talking them off n on. Will be double nutted when completed
