matty martins mild custom wagon
Hi Matty,
noticed you have changed your title - I have done likewise - good suggestion by Thomno.......
bet it took all of a nano-second to tell Joe you were happy to have it done by the end of the month - but which month was he thinking of...... April, May, June...........
keep it coming, Matty....... she's nearly your's again.....
Bet Joe needs some "rest" - he looks pretty comfortable "sitting" down on your sill.........
frats,
Rosco

hey guys,
i recently got a reply back from a place that installs airbags... there work look to be top notch...
i email them firstly with a recent pic of the wagon & i told them that i was interested in getting dsome airbags on it...
if they could give me a price guide for what it would cost for the set & installed... (this included a 4 link rear end, as they said that its needed, as the bags dont work well with leaf springs)...
qoute... $9000.00
i guess no bags for matty martin

There was a set for sale a few months ago that came out of an EH, was for sale in Cruzin, full set up with disc brake front $800-
I couldnt ring quick enough but were long gone. Cost him $2500- to set up with a leaf spring rear. At this stage Im just going to stick to 4" blocks and cut springs till the moola flows in.............if that ever happens. If you want I will get his number and you could give him a call he seemed like a decent bloke, could point you in the right direction
hey matty i got my full rear set up from air ride tech in melbourne
for 1100 inc postage-springs rest with all new bushs etc
i got a hr diff and removed the bump stops and fitted u bolts and 2 inch blocks- the diff when fully down sits on the rear rails but there is not much room left in the wheel wells to arch so its not worth notching out
with out changing wheel archs(big pain #lots time)oh the bags i got have bump stops built in them -i think they were real easy to fit coniderin
ive only done the rear with dropped spindals and lowered springs in the front and havent cracked 2K yet goodtimes i think

hey guys,
thanks for the replies...
ratbox, that would be great... if & when you get in contact with that would be really appreciated mate...
bex, pm sent back, thanks...
tayz, $800... sound too cheap/ too good to be true...
mez & gazrat... there's no way i'll be doing it myself as i'm no that mechanically minded, (i wish i was) also i dont have the resourses, (tools or space)...
mez, do you mean that there is no bag set up in the front... (just the drop spindles & lowered springs)... if so can you give more details on your set up up front...eg, how much lower are the springs & whats the drop from the drop spindles...
thanks again

hey balck
i would love to... but its at this guys house, besides i'm still working myself, as i only get one day off a week...
i also have a bit of runnig around to do next monday (my day off) droping off bumpers to get rechromed... & picking up some more polished stainless.
i'm also trying to find time to drop seats for retriming... (when i decide on a colour... i'm finding this the hardest thing yet, 2nd only to choosing the car colour)
at the moment i'm personally doing a new dash/gauges in white & trying to clean up some little bits & pieces, like the wiper motor, chrome heater air switch & gear selector thingy...
plus i waiting for the BLOODY RUBBERS to arrive...
the worst thing that i've done for myself is where everything is getting done...
stainless repairs, 45mis from home
panelbeter, 45 mins from home, 1 hour from stainless repairs
mechanic, 45mins from home also 1 hour from panelbeter...
the amont of fuel i'm using is enormous... $1.57 OUCH......
(chopper said it best)
winge fukn winge...
