Thats how to do custom body work.
Looks different but why ?
Greg
That's what we are aiming for, trying to keep the factory look but tweak it a bit - sort of a factory styling exercise if they were considering building a 2 door.

Just expanded mesh Mick , that's actually the original stuff that was on the donor section with a quick squirt of silverfrost on it - can buy various sizes at Bunnings or a metal supplier, there's actually a mob over here called Meshworld.

Picked up a front end for it the other day, been kicking around options for which way to go - do I buy a Rodtech, do I use a HR or an LH or a Mitsubishi L300 which is popular in the Hotrod circles, or do I go Jag ??
The decision was made for me when this came up on Marketplace- already narrowed by the WA guru of narrowed Jag front ends and complete with rotors, calipers and a set of new bushes and ball joints etc at a bargain basement price ImageImageImageImage

BIG brakes , 4 spot calipers and big diameter rotors , a couple of spare sets of stub axles, springs - I couldn’t let it go. They ride NICE ImageImageImageImage
