The best car ever built on this forum if I may say so myself 8)

I have the top of the line pioneer speakers in my FB from 2007 - the kevlar yellow cones. They sound sweet as!

Cheers Andrew and Mick,
Mick, the fibreglass work will be painted :D :D :D . The fibreglass moulded parts will be Metallic Black and between to two original chrome (s/s) trims at the top (top and bottom of the "original" door card section that is exposed) will be upolstered in red leather, the speakers also have silver trims. Door handle will be Billet alloy, windows are electric ..... should look ok (I hope). 8) 8) 8)

This build has got me even more enthralled than Mal's build. Unbelievable workmanship and attention to detail.

Congratulations on an awesome job.

Kind regards,
Steve

Brilliant! How are you going to mount the subs?

Andrew, Steve, J, DR & Billy thanks for the posts guys!! :D :D :D
Billy, the console will (hopefully) end up having the sound system head unit, drink holders, B&M Billet Pro shifter (for the Powerglide), recessed handbrake, armrest, storage pocket under arm rest and the A/C vents in it that will also be ducted to the rear of the console for the passengers in the back ..... also want to mount the "original" ash tray from the back of the bench seat into the rear of the console but due to the restricted width (between the buckets seats) it may not fit   ........... so still a fair bit of design/thinking/fabricating to do.

Andrew, the sub is being setup in the boot on the lefthand side, I will have a go at making a contoured fibreglass mounting base (similar to the doors), then make one for the righthand side that looks similar .... but this will be easily removable as the battery will be hidden behind it 8) . Not really into the "doof doof" music scene .... more of a "boom boom" bloke    ...... hopefully this will feel like I'm sitting in the front row at and Eagles concert!! :D :D :D     .
