I like this little sharing stuff with fellow members thingy , I guess thats what they do in real clubs
When I finish this one I might just share when its needed .
Heres pics of the guards in construction...
I couldnt be happier with how they turned out . and I can run atleast an inch lower than previousely comfortable.

Hey Harko,
The car is looking fantastic. But i think you have done that wheel / hub cap combo to death. Ha Ha Ha
Seriously, i can't wait to see it finished.

haha there "is" no other wheels , Chromies with the centre gold to match the roof but the moons and rim stating chrome should give it the look I love but a little different from the norm ("smiling" unless smooth has seen it haha)
Thanks Lynchpin
Matty , get down and eyeball the front wheel arches on an EK FB ,you will notice the wheel isnt set in the centre so I centred it better ,gained the clearance to run it real low hopefully without guard scrape (that will be missed

) and it also takes away some of the visual flab of an EK guard without making your eye look straight at it like a sore thumb
Ive gottta stop showing everything Ive done so I can save something for the finished product , Id rather have 20 of you blokes at the next cruise trying to find whats missing or changed.
By the way just a short note to say Im loving this site right now with all the buzz and activity ,especially with customs and its helping to motivate me loads
Does anyone want rust free inner rear door frames for repair sections ? pick up here bars open at 4

Great work Harko, these posts help take some of the mystery out of customising that puts a lot of people off.

Cool job on the guards, But! It will have to be lower than normal now to get the look, to fill up the guard space or are you going to run bigger wheels on the front.

Yep it will be running a taller profile on the front with the white walls and will be down and dirty .
When I was setting up my old wagon I put in the dropped stub axles and 2 inch lower coils but couldnt steer it
The coils are still here under the bench and the crossmember has dropped stubs
Also I think chopped cars need to be lower than usual to take up the new proportions ,My ute looked crap at the bump stops .
Im in the shed right now tacking up the doors , but need another pair of hands ..............
