Can anybody tell me who was making the new inner section that is behind the back wheel goes from boot floor to rear outer 1/4 panel, mine are completely shot way beyond even using as a template.
I've checked Stark and a couple of the others I know of but can't find them, I remember somebody posting on the forum a photo but can't find it.

More metal worm removal this weekend
Opened up the passenger side sill, I knew I had to repair the inner sill under the back door and the outer sill on this side was probably not worth saving.
Plenty of rust and crap laying in there. Cut away the rear section that I need to replace, I have a piece with the dimples in it to put back in there. Cleaned the rest up and put some rust converter on . More fun next weekend.

Had a young mate come around last Wednesday and gave me a hand to change the axles and dismantle the VE rear suspension and fit to the wagons rear cradle.
Once we figured out how the axles come out of the CV joints it was fairly easy to change them but I wouldn’t want to be doing it all the time.

Cool mate. Are you using the commodore arms? Do you reckon there will be added weight over the banjo and leaf spring? Any idea where the exhaust will go?

I was thinking the same in relation to weight, only because i had a mate bagging my 9 inch saying it was too heavy and i should have used a borg warner instead.
Im sure the ride with that cradle will be superior to the leaf springs.

Not sure what you mean Clay, the cradle bolts into the original leaf spring hangers as it is in the photo, not sure how much weight it is going to add but the cradle itself is built like a tank so it got to be a good couple of hundred kilos.

Greg how much did the 9” add? a standard VE weighs between 1650 and 1850 kilos, I suppose I’ll have to wait until I get it weighed for rego.

What I meant was, are you using all the Commodore components like the control arms and axles? It was your comment about removing axles got me wondering, but in your picture it looks like you are using factory arms with fabricated toe adjustment.

Finished the inner sill repair and chassis brace
