If I read your post correctly, this is the POR-15 "tank treatment"....?
It looks pretty flash - you'd be pretty happy with that.....?

I don't know if you had to strip the top of the tank - and this is irrelevant for a van, I'm guessing - but for a sedan - it would be necessary to fit "packing" in the recesses - the floor mat sits directly on the tank....

Looks great - hope it's POR-15.....

Am really happy with the outcome :D :D it spent a week in the Acid Dip prior to the Tank Treatment being applied. the treatment has now sealed both sides of the upper part of the tank hence no moisture = no rust

where can i buy this POR-15 that every one is talking about?
Is that what i ask for at an Auto store?

POR15 as a base coat?

I would also look at KBS coatings, I have used them and have been very impressed, much cheaper as well.
