it's an FB :D
hate to be picky it's as with alot of drawings they're not particularly correct dimensions which can have an impact on the finished product if it were tried in steel

and NO I CAN NOT DO BETTER I COULD NOT EVEN COME CLOSE

I dunno how to do the quote thing??

But Ratbox, half the fun of an artwork is to do a rendition or approximation of the subject matter...if you want it precise ..get a camera.

Plus I'd like to see some artworks by other folk on this forum, just because some of us are supposedly "talented" does'nt make us judge, jury & executioner! Let's see some from the rest of you..in Australian Aborigine terms ..everyone draws or paints and there is no such thing as a bad artwork...I like that. Art is fun and therapeutic and something that society puts a kibosh on if they don't like it...Bugger them ..let's all draw!

Now, Mick...you should never underestimate your own abilities :?
I have taught several 'learn to draw & comic' courses to kids (and their parents) over the years.
What I've found was the so called "gifted" kids were so full of themselves that they lacked the 'spark' to do better because they thought they were good enough and stagnated at that level, where as the ones who thought (or were told by the other kids) that they could'nt draw, where the very ones that learned with lightning speed and produced very good & I might say side-split-tingly funny 4-5 panel comics at the end of the course.

But the most interesting of all was the comments from their parents as in (I used to love to draw when I was young), I'd ask them why did they stop? Then came the same excuses, "I haven't got the time these days" or "I'm not good enough", to this I answered that if you liked doing it as a kid there is no reason that anyone couldn't take half an hour just to scribble what they wanted. Drawing is one of the simplest and cheap hobbies. You don't have to be as good as a 'Pro" , just keep at it and you'll find that the level and gets more to your liking each time and so does the enjoyment.

If you think I don't practice every day you'de be sorely mistaken.
After loosing Helen last year my artwork took a nose dive and I lost the "X-factor" and it showed..the art was not up to the standards I expect of myself (let alone charge for!!)...so what helped get me headed back on track?? 'Axeman' was the start to the road of recovery...I'm still not quite there yet..but the flow is starting to come back. I used to be known as the 'fastest pen in the west' ( ask the Blue Dog!).

So don't tell me you don't have an artistic eye...look at the works of art you've made in the past like the two door EK coupe or the orange convertible or the purple van. 8) 8)

i did tech drawing at school but it was mostly just as a bludge  but never have minded drawing but it just never works :(
with the cars the one thing i do have is i can see as clear as a picture in my head what i want to do, spose kinda like foose, boyd etc except they can transfer it to paper
talking with little mick once he told me at school teachers would pick on him tell him he'll go nowhere BUT he could draw and look at him now :)
