Should be the same, the bottom of the engine is the same, it's just the shape of the bottom of the sump that is different. (does that make sense?)

Aparently if you are keeping the grey radiator you need to modify the bottom neck to suit the red motor? Anyone have any info on this?
Also can I put a red onto my grey box with a bellhousing off a red crash box so as to keep my red starter?

I have done that with a stock radiator, that is correct, it also helps to make it a 3 core while your at it.

you can't chage the bellhousing on a grey gearbox unless it's an EJ box earlier are one piece but the red motor will bolt straight up to yor grey gearbox and you just use the grey starter motor, i'm not 100% sure but i think the red starter will bolt up to the grey bellhousing but only uses 2 holes

Quick question, when fitting a red motor to an EK. Where should the engine mounts be positioned on the HR frontend?
