It is with deep regret that I have to say I won't be there
I just found out my lovely wife to be has booked our honeymoon and we don't get back until the 18th of June....
AAARRRRRGGGGHHHHHH!

so your honeymoon isnt in Bendigo? Damn! There is always next year...the BIG one...50 year anniversary...bring your other half and celebrate your 1 year anniversary...

2000km road trip each way. I'm in training now cause you guys will have to pry us out of those blasted bench seats. We'll be there. Countin the days!

Good morning Gary and everyone else anticipating going to the nationals.
Yes 2000'ks is a long way, but well worth the journey. We live in Mount Gambier which is the very south of South Australia, and to travel to any event is an adventure for us. (last year Yamba, 2,500 k's each way)
The trips to the nationals are very worthwhile, catching up and re-kindling friendships/acquaintences and meeting new fb/ek enthusiasts is the best part. this year Bendigo is relatively short for us (396k's)
Yes, we admit we are addicted!!!
OK ....!!! 87 sleeps.
