Theo, I've welded in mounting points on the cross bar in the middle of the back so we're rite to go .
If my black jocks suddenly turn pink, I won't be feeling too cool , I got plenty of thumbs up before I pulled it off the road, Trev .

looking good Trev, bet the wife and kids are looking forward to hitting the road. My first respray as a no-it-all-16 year old was with $90 electric spray gun. I managed to splatter on 8-9 coats real show car stuff.....not
I probably sanded off 6-7 coats of the paint to get it flat, but in the end it was not to bad. Looked way better than a cheap shop job
Anyway yours looks 10x better so it should come up a treat

My first paint job was a Valiant wagon, all done with spray cans.
Place I was working at had too many. Grey if I recall.
One of the worst paint jobs ever. Rub it back ? Ha Ha Ha...... No......

Your Paint job looks much better.
Unfortunately I know how much rubbing you would have done to get it back, a lot............

Better than I thought it would have after the rub back, but you can see all the crap prep work that stands out like doggy things now the color is on .

Hoping the motor goes as good as a stock red motor , I think thats about all I can wish for and if it goes any better it will be a bonus .

Finny, starting a spray job with cans you would not have thought it was going to be a show job anyway , I have a magazine with a car painted with a roller and a lot of rubbing after every coat, it actually came out pretty good , Trev .
