the chev engines must sit up along way, when we did the ute we sat a tunnel ram on the 308 with a hillborn type scoop and it would have just poked through

The Chev does sit about an inch higher than the 308, which is good as it gives plenty of steering clearance. Having said that, the 327 has a Victor Jnr and a 2inch phelo spacer, so that jacks the height up a bit. Without those, it sits WELL under the bonnet. 8)

some progress being made over here, despite the polar bear weather..

Paint on the interior, wiring mostly finished, all brakes rebuilt plumbed and bled, and fuel tank finally back from the fabricators....

sweet man.... are you leaving the top of the dash the same colour?

love the finned mooneyes gauge panel / gauges very 8) 8) 8) matches the engine...

Top of the dash same colour Nomad, I want to keep it looking 'period commercial'.
The whole car will be green, the white is just the texture undercoat.

i dont know what,
but there is just something about this van which is awesome in my books....

im not overly fussed about the engine(despite its coolness) but yeh its something i cant put my finger on.
