The drive-in is $30.00/car for two movies. They also give discounts to for group admissions if we book and pay for in advance, but it's only a couple of dollars I believe.
Oh, and you need an FM radio to hear the sound, unless someone's got a big stereo and leaves their windows down.

Brown Bear wrote:So how about 'Saturday night at the movies' march 15th?
Keep the theme going and take a 'who cares what picture you see' approach to the evening
The there's KK nostalgia fest and Maitland Steamfest to keep us amused before hitting the road to Yamba

So who's keen for a meet up at the drive in on the 15th ?
you can count me in, I'll bring my chair and some dip and bikkies
cheers Rob

Also for those interested this is whats on the 15th....
The Bucket List - starts 7:45pm.
Corporate billionaire Edward Cole (Jack Nicholson) and working class mechanic Carter Chambers (Morgan Freeman) are worlds apart. At a crossroads in their lives, they share a hospital room and discover they have two things in common: a desire to spend the time they have left doing everything they ever wanted to do before they "kick the bucket" and an unrealized need to come to terms with who they are. Together they embark on the road trip of a lifetime, becoming friends along the way and learning to live life to the fullest. Each adventure adds another check to their list, all done with insight and humor.
10,000 B.C - starts 9:45pm
From director Roland Emmerich comes a sweeping odyssey into a mythical age of prophesies and gods, when spirits rule the land and mighty mammoths shake the earth.
In a remote mountain tribe, the young hunter, D'Leh (Steven Strait), has found his heart's passion - the beautiful Evolet (Camilla Belle). When a band of mysterious warlords raid his village and kidnap Evolet, D'Leh is forced to lead a small group of hunters to pursue the warlords to the end of the world to save her.

Thinking perhaps we can meet up somewhere along the New England and take the Cessnock road overland to Heddon Greta? Bev, let me know when and where's good to meet up.
MP and Rob, perhaps Traveller's rest at Hexham could be good?
Looking forward to it!
