Still no luck Blacky, all seem to say can only get 3mm, a couple weren't keen on shelling out info at all really, have them black marked.

3.2 is the smallest thickness I have ever seen in Masonite, a quick Google came up with nothing but 3.2 and 4.8mm.
Masonite is OK for door trims, but anything with any curves at all and I would go for MDF as it is more plyable.
I have heard of people using plastic for door trims/kick panels too, maybe you could get some of that in 2mm.

Cheers guys
The reason I was after 2mm is, I was told 3.2mm will be too thick round the handles by the time you get the padding & vinyl on.
But if 3mm is what's used successfully then I will use a sheet of that

Blue Ute, ring Graham on 0418216087, he is my trimmer mate.
If you use 3mm on door trims with anything other than vinyl you will never get the stainless back on without a massive shitfight.
He can tell you where to get the thin stuff-or organise a pickup if they dont wanna sell it to the general public.

I used 4mm MDF on my old ones, but hit the area around the handles with a sander to strip the immediate area back to about 2mm thickness. This allowed the handles to fit up easily even with some padding and vinyl....
