That was at the Tenterfield nats 05, I remember it was parked next to the pink ute that was at the nats this year.
Hey TAYZ, I thought it looked like the Alfio car aswell, not my cup of tea thats for sure, Trev

.
That's Wayney Poo's F.B. , Trev...

He and his wife Linda had the Pink F.B. ute with fins & matching caravan at this years nats.
The Man loves his BIG SPOILERS!
One of the true great couples that you meet at the F.B. E.K. Nationals.
Scotty.
P.S. Hope you got all the way home to S.A. without a hitch.

You are correct SunnyTim, i geuss its another case of "if you cant say something nice, have another beer"
I can apprecitate and respect the effort put into car, I geuss it'd be a pretty boring world if we all liked the same thing. And hey its another car being enjoyed by someone and saved from the crusher.
Have a good christmas and drive safe all.

THREE CHEERS FOR TIM!
..you nailed it on the head. This is an F.B & E.K. site last time I looked, & Wayne's F.B. does enter that category. It might not be everyones cup of tea (but neither was my wagon...complete rust bucket!!). He built his and Linda's cars the way THEY themselves wanted not what Rodger Resto or Sammy Streetmachine likes! THAT MY FRIENDS IS KUSTOMIZING!! I bet the F.B. has traveled more 'K's' trouble free than most too! Just my two cents (or is that sence?)..
Scotty.

tried so hard to keep my mouth shut but just couldn't help my self when these abortions were being called kustoms
both cars a vile and are more along street machine lines than kustoms with bolted on options and horrid flares and flutes in guards
the owner may love them, and this is just my opinion, and i think anyone who likes FB/EK holdens weather stock or modified would feel the same
NOW I'M GUNNA COP IT

but if yor gunna defend these cars i know what yor taste in cars is like so whatever you say don't really mean much to me

Guys,
If the car was built in the 70's or even the 80's that would explain the wings on the side.
The wing on the back may be to help open the boot! You know when the helper springs just dont cut it.
Hell! you cant even put a beer on it!
I have nothing further to say ?????????????????????????????????????????

..no Ratbox...a forum should have everyones opinion, so you should'nt "cop it". But (in my opinion) I think your understanding of 'Kustomize' is off kilter . To me it's building or changing a vehicle to one's own personal style.
Just had to defend Wayne as he is a good friend of mine, as you would.

i like the car

,the wings not my style,
but dam i put &*#@ paint on a holden

, ive seen many things
but not a wing like that on an ek - fb ,,,,,but we all drive these old
cars to be differant and stand out and cause there sh#t hot old cars
that give us a intrest in life and an excuse to drink some rums in the shed
and if ive seen some creative fellas with cars its here on this cool forum so many things changed and modified alot of back yard work that looks like great quality with some amazing engineering and imagination its a credit to you all and we all need to respect independent taste aswell as peoples opinions and enjoy the great variations that others do to the remaining cars of this model,,,this dudes car stands out and makes people look which is what we all want , and as it aint in a crush and still going its a credit to old mate ( who i dont even know) just for putting in an effort and restoreing it to his taste ,,,,no matter how we all think about it ,,,,it isnt crushed or stuffed from rust and thats gotta be a good thing ,,,,,,all bow to the holden god and pray he saves a few more whatever they look like amen!!!!!!!!
no im not a religous person !!!!
it was just to lighten everyone up
you know humour!!!!

The spoiler, in fact the whole car looks great.
Good to see someone who can think outside the square, rather than just reproducing the original which any automaton can do.

(boring, boring)
This car, and the pink ute, are a credit to the owners skills and ingenuity.
