I cut mine on a lathe with a hacksaw, while it was spinning,
Then used an angle grinder the same way.

If you are taking it through Regency, do not cut the bump stops as they require a minimum bump stop height. They are fairly generous with their bump stop clearance though, last time I checked -
Bump stop min height - 51mm
Bump stop clearance Front - 25mm, Rear 67mm

Hi all. REGENCY not if i can help it. Thanks Stinky for the measurements i will do some measuring soon. do the stops just unbolt.

The stops just pull out.
A little twisting may help.
