If you are serious about getting the most out of your rocket cover, you should consider fitting a set of exaddurators to maximise the horsepower gains from the rocket cover.
As you are probably all aware , the true hard core grey motor enthusiast wil also go to the trouble of installing some fangers as well, but they are out of the reach of all but the very wealthy.

I have a set of those Blacky
Mine are enhanced with 'SNASCO' Double Overhead Underhangs

If you can find some NOS bottles of Genuine NASCO tap water, block your muffler up and fill it with said water.Leave overnight,drain, and your muffler bearings will recondition and be as good as new.

But fundamentally, other than being totally different, they are identical and both will permit the engine to reach maximum output without need for state-of-the-art outer terestial additives to counter-act rocker cover short-comings including turbulence diversion, oil flow direction deceleration reversal or lifter noise ground force attraction .......

I couldnt find any markings on the cover to state who made. If anyone has side plates to suit on a red block please let me know im very interested !!!.

I had to grind out the plate which sits under the vacuum outlet as it was fouling on the rolla rockers. Im crossing my fingers the cover will have enough clearence for roller rockers but wont know till it fires up. Its right on the line for a yay or a nay whether it will work or not.

On a side note ............. anyone fitted a gilmer set to a red motor hahahaha. I know it wont look period to the cover but I have a spare set laying round in garage and it appears all the holes line up - water pump , alt and crank pulley.

Just not sure how its ment to fit to the crank pulley as it lines up with the 3 holes. Should these be tapped or is there room behind to fit a bolt/nut ? Never had to remove one before .........

The three holes in the Harmonic Balancer are already threaded. You DO NOT place nuts behind.

Just make sure you get the correct sized bolts (in thread and length).
