We are at Old Tailem Town, drove past it a dozen times thought we should have a decent look , it’s a bit of a shame that everything seems to be going downhill due to lack of maintenance would need a big crew of volunteers to keep it all in good Nick - seems to be a common theme with these types of places

I haven't been in there though, like you, driven past a million times. Club has done a few runs there. Better try and outrun the rain coming and continue on to the Mount. Meningie, Coorong, southern ports highway is a nice drive. Pleasant coast towns, Robe, Beachport.

We then headed off to Tailem Bend for lunch, which was going to be brunch but it had gone 12 by now …. Found a bakery and refuelled and off we went , got down the road a ways and spotted some treasures so we pulled up and had a chat with the owner and looked through his stuff, nothing too interesting, some Jeeps and old Jags

A bit further along and we saw this - an EK hydra wagon with a 202/4speed a r, is for sale the bloke wants $17k for it which is pretty ambitious, has bad sill rust , all doors have rust issues , around side window on passenger side etc

Then our final stop before Mt Gambier , Wynns winery in Coonawarra , bought some nice reds and tried to get arty with the sunset and the vines
