We were lucky with the weather today , was a bit wet this morning but we managed to dodge the showers and have a great day - packed a lot in as usual
First up we went to the Maritime museum in Port Lincoln - the old workshops of a local boatbuilder who kicked off in the ‘40’s and closed up in the early 80’s

I love this stuff , reminds me of my grandfathers shed when I was a kid , was a wonderous place , walls covered in tools , timber everywhere and the smell of wood shavings and roll your own durries

Koppio Museum up in the hills is worth a look.

They have done a hell of a job for a volunteer run museum

Then we leapt back into the mighty FB and pointed her nose northward to Koppio, about half an hour out of Port Lincoln , to Smithy’s, a museum that kinda reminded us of the place we went to at last years nationals , lots of variety- SA,s smallest bank and post office have been relocated here , an eclectic collection once again run by dedicated volunteers
