Driver.

The driver or right arm is the kinked one and goes on last just in case you’re in any any doubt. I installed ek arms and motor in the fb ute. The fb arms are the same shape but slightly different ends:EK on the right. The FB ones have a hex bush to suit the vacuum motor, which rotates back and forth through about 160 degrees, achieving the same effect as the rotating crank on the ek. Just in case you are using fb connector arms.

I’m sure the fb ones work okay. I put an ek motor in an fc using the fc arms.

Still don't have it right
The photo's help a heap Errol62 at least i no the arms are around the correct way and it parks but the arms move at a different rate / speed . I have to leave it at this stage as a friend is coming to give me a hand with the wiring of the car i will get back onto it when i can meantime if anyone has any ideas as to why the arms move at a different rate / speed please post

It has to be the crank you are using, unless the slave arms are mismatched. They should be both the same length. VR may well have a different sweep each side. Stroke at the crank should be the same each side.

I am useing ek arms I agree that it has to do with the crank position i realy thank you for your help i am at a loss at this stage.

What crank are you using?

Hi Billy;
See the photo below this is what I had to do to get my FC wipers to stroke closer together as I said earlier they are still not perfect but a lot better than they were when I first did the mod, I think I did 5mm but can't remember, if it was 5 I should have done 10 .
There was a lot of discussion about having to do this on the fe fc forum.

Clutching at straws now but I wonder if there is any chance the axis of rotation of the motor is different to stock. Can’t see that it would make too much difference as the displacement should be the same.

The only other possibility is that something is bent. Frustrating I’m sure.

Can you confirm both big end centres are on the same radius or stroking the same. Also measure the slave arm lengths. Should be same as each other.

Another issue could be the slave arms should be a reflection of each other relative to vertical at park. Same angle displaced from vertical in opposite directions.

This is my set up not the best photo i know if they dont help i will try to get better tomorrow some are upside down i know not why

does the crank need to be parallel with the primary arm on the motor?

it is not in the park position and photos are upside down.

Okay. I’m pretty sure you just need to disconnect your crank and turn 180 degrees on the shaft. Then reconnect actuator arms with the wipers still in the park position.
