So it will be rego'd with the Melbourne sub frame number, but it's still an Adelaide car. Sounds good to me,

So long as you don't plan to compete in "Original" class I don't see a problem Trev.

It will be far from original anyway, I've just put in a home made chassis, floor pans and a bigger tunnel for an auto

. It will be the old HR front, Red 6, trimatic, LJ Torana diff and 14's, I doubt I could build anything worth winning a trophy anyhow

Hey Trev, Sounds like your car was bodied in adelaide but assembled in melbourne. My Van is an Adelaide bodied car and assembled here in Brisvegas and it has Strata Blue firewall same as the body. Your vin tag will show where it was bodied with an A, S, M, B and the subframe can have a different assembly letter to show who put the car together. Hope this helps.
