Very interesting, thanks for the information. I do believe that "Jack" would of had many of them stamped over different periods of time. I wonder how many survived??? Just had my second pair arrive today. Time to compare the pair....

I don't recon there stamped but part of the mold? Over time the molds were replaced as his business became established? Who knows. It's cool though.

Until recently I had only ever seen/heard of the cam gear that Harv mentioned but my friend just got one yesterday for an old guy as a gift. Pretty cool.

Just wondering if anyone has pics of Jack Myers headers installed with the 'Y' join exhaust on a car. Or even better, a pic of the old Lukey exhaust system from early days. I have been advised to run pipes to atleast under the passenger side before joining into the single 2" exhaust pipe for better performance. Cheers

My post from June 6th shows the Myers Y-pipe join. Mine "Y" is in the engine bay, not under the passenger side. The Myers headers tend to lend themselves to the two pipes being run "one on top of the other". This is a big height to get under the floor without losing ground clearance. The exhaust shop would need to work a bit harder to get them to run "side by side" before passing the firewall.

The longer the system runs as dual pipe, the less pressure drop. Having said that, the difference between the "Y" in the engine bay and the "Y" under the passenger's feet would be negligible.

Cheers,
Harv
