No girls at ACT? Wow! We are at Lakeside. We have older children going to ACT that can look after the little ones if we dine out.

Hi Mark and Steve,
Have been dicsussing this with Tony Westlake...
For those driving from Sydney on the Friday the plan is to meet at Pheasants Nest at 10.30am, lunch at Goulburn arrive Canberra 2pm ish.
From the Club - Tony Westlake and family, Lou Merceica and family, Steve Clare and myself are driving down on Friday - Steve can you make that time??
A few more Club members are driving down on Saturday.
Suggestion for Saturday (more orientated for kids)- visit Questacon/Cockington Green Gardens/Australian Institute of Sport - check out
http://www.3infun.com.au/index.asp you can buy 1 family ticket for $110 and visit all 3 and get a bonus return entry to one of the attractions. To book a ticket ask for this deal at the first attraction you go to.
regards
Stewart

another good place would be the Australian National Museum (its pretty good) then theres all the boring stuff like the two parliment houses, the National Film and Archive centre might be worth a look too. ummm, im just trying to think what canberra has to offer being a local and all... as for markets, belconnen fresh food markets might be good, there are markets in Fyshwick but i dont know much about all that. We dont really have any markets like Sydneys Paddys Markets or anything.
PM me if you want any info on canberra or anything or just add to this forum, i know this town pretty well, been here 19 years (all my life)
Cheers,
A;ex

I must be blind or something but I can't see one mention of the date the show is on

, you guys must be telepathic being able to all turn up in Canberra on the same weekend without knowing the date

.
Anyone care to tell me the date, I'm having evil thoughts of a road trip
