Thanks mick. I spent the last two days at specialists. Yesterday the one for my broken ribs and the one today to see if my brain is working ok. I still cant remember stuff. Im still failing the standard memory tests.
Having said all that for the first time last night I managed to sleep laying down.
My advice to anyone with an old car is to fit a racing harness.
My vette had lap belts. They might have well been off. I went straight into the steering column and windscreen.
To top it all off I still havent been interviewed by the police. Ive rang them four times already.

Only metal and bones all heals buddy... You'll be back into healing the metal (well glass) in no time

An ambo once told me the only good thing about lap belts is they make it easier to find the body , they are pretty much useless in a prang

 that's no good mate hope you have a speedy recovery
just as long as you remember what a holden looks like and don't get them mixed up with that other car brand

a lot of the time its just luck with seat belts bad and good
:( my older sister was killed in a car accident in the late 80's head on drivers side
she was a passenger in the front seat with a full retractable seat belt but still hit the dash her friend was sitting next to her in the middle lap belt minor bruizing
driver had cuts and bruize's full seat belt luck of the draw I guess :?

yep i'm a firm believer there is a number system, i've seen crashes where no one should be alive and everybody out of the car is standing there scratching there heads and others where you can't possably figure how someone died
