That Speco rocker cover and breather may fund quite a few items.
I've seen them go on ebay for a fair few $$$. Make sure to add 'Nasco' in the ad. That normally bumps up the price a bit.

I'll second that! Stockpiling is the name of the game...

just the bits i dont need two of eg : bonnet spear , wheels, instrunent cluster, that sort of stuff , i not planning any crazy creation with four headlights , two foof linings or two gear boxes , i am keeping all the doubled up screws ,bolts , door mecks, window mec , etc but therer are just some things i will definatly not be using
i have spent all weekend cleaning and detaling parts working out what is the best ,wrappiung all the good stuff in newspaper and bubble rap and stored it all away in plastic sealed boxes .
both cares were completly operational in every way (opps never checked the heaters )all the things that could shit themselves in the mean time i will be keeping glass, locks, wiring, motrors.

Agree with the above - unless you are badly strapped for cash, or out of space, keep the spares until you have it on the road. It's funny how many bits get lost, snap off lugs, get flung out of the grinder at the speed of light, or get drilled in the wrong spot as you go (don't ask me how I know... I've done each of those, and worse ). Replacing bits one-at-a-time costs the earth. The bits you have also act as a neat bargaining tool to get the impossible stuff ("I have a Speco rocker cover with breather... will trade for a bonnet bar").

And bag and tag all the bolts and screws and were you think they came from, I brought glad sandwich bags from the supermarket big and small, worked fine when I restored mine.

Just a couple op pictures don't think the new car was an original pigion grey, take a look and tell me what you think, it also has a couple ow strange little things.
Picture one is a 240v setup bayonet light fitting and 3pin plug made out of the old style plastic, under the rear of car it is not hooked up but has been there's long time, it's located between the spare wheel hump and petrol tank
The second two pictures are what I found when I removed the front speaker cover. A spare key and an old kill switch that looks like it was hooked up to the negative on the coil. It appears to be one of those NASCO push pull switches that were sold in the blister packs
The fourth picture is a picture of the fire wall from the inside with the sound dampening insert removed appears to be light blue the fifth picture light blue behind door strike plate.and again in door jam
Seventh picture is some strange wires coming through the manual gear box tunnel inspection plate.
The last two are before and afters of fuel gauge.

And the rest
