Have to agree. Looks well executed, much better than I'd ever hope to accomplish, but that paint job just doesn't belong on an early Holden.

First thing I'd do is repaint it Apache Red and Snowcrest White

There are other pictures of Robs car elsewhere on this forum. The one I posted was all I had available.
The car this post is about is a nice clean looking car.
And without knowing what was asked for its hard to make a comment without offending someone.
But I will give my honest opinion, as I do. And you can through rocks later.
When first viewed it looked like an EK standard with a custom two tone paint job with a gold line separating the colours.
The ride height is only so slightly lowered, and the wheels and hub caps immediately look odd.
From the build photos there is no questioning that this is an extremely high quality build throughout.
Personally there is only a few small things I would adjust starting with the paint layout, this car is screaming for brightwork to help break up the expanse of the body sides and add that little bit of bling separating the colours. Rob did it on his home built custom using Holden body moulds fitted in a way Holden never thought of.
A little bit more lowering and reworking of those wheels.
Just small changes that can transform a car appearance.

Over the year during major builds I always ask mates or people I know in the trade to look at a what is in front of them and comment on what they see. Its amazing what someone else will see that you may have missed because at times you are to close to the job and are blinded to something an outsider will see. The opposite can apply when you can see what you believe needs fixing or adjusting and you are the only one that can see it.
In the end its all up to the owner, if he likes it that's all that matters in the long run.

Regardless of colour scheme that car is bloody straight
looks to be exceptional body work and paint
I do like the red and agree with Paul
needs some chrome strip on the side some where
but overall very nice  imho

Amazing build there, can't add anything there which has not already been said. Apart from the colour (never beleived metallics suit the early Holden shape).
Those hub-caps! Some serious work must have gone into grafting EK caps onto whatever they have to make them fit 14's, but to me they stick out too far proud of the rims. Looks a bit odd. Perhaps a deeper offset on the rims would improve the look. I tried baby moons on my standard offset HK/T rims and they just looked pox, so settled for trim rings and chrome dress nuts.

The penny just dropped. The paint scheme looks a bit like a 61/62 Corvette.

The paint layout comes from Buick.
See how the stainless moulding make a difference.

Look at the roof profile and back window on the Hard Top. Can you see a similarity to FB & EK's.

Smooth I meant the paint scheme looks a bit like a 61/62 Corvette on the original EK in this post.
