I have my daughters leavers dinner in about 4 weeks and need at least one from each side. Hate to take her in it with 2 slashes missing :(
Not all chemicals are bad. Without chemicals such as hydrogen and
oxygen, for example, there would be no way to make water, a vital
ingredient in beer

Those clips look very much like these ones that I have used along the roof line trim on my wagon

Hi Les
what would you like to see in be made
Front windsscreen rubbers that fit. I bought a Rares one about 3 weeks ago and had a bloke come and install it last week. He has been in the windscreen trade since the early 1970s (ie not a johnny come lately) and after 2 hours and 2 attempts it wouldn't fit. As the windscreen was pushed into place the stainless trim kept pulling away from the rubber. The rubber profile seems to large. I have since ordered one from Betta Rubbers after being told that they are now making their own because they had compaints about the Rares one. It's being fitted tomorrow so will see how this goes.

Also retaining clips for the 'Special' badges, the 'slash' badge and the 'HOLDEN' front bonnet lettering that actually fit both the original badge pins and the original holes on the FB EK. Today I bought kits from American Autos - CP1161 Tube nuts and Clip Set NS0042. These are pretty close but I will have to drill out the holes in the EK. Would it be possible to make the original rectangular clips but in plastic?

Also the 'W' clips for side trim. These are used on all FB EKs http://www.fbekholden.com/forum/viewtop ... ip#p149008

Many thanks.

Stewart
Hi Stewart
I assume you purchased the seal from American Autos if this is the case could you take it back to them and ask them to airbag it to Lance Corby at Rare Spares in Melbourne. We will test fit it on Tuesday , we need it by Tuesday as our Test Fitter will be on holidays for 3 weeks. if in fact it does not fit I will arrange a full credit, I will also give you a $100.00 voucher for your trouble wether the seal fits or not.
I should always add that if anyone has a complaint or problem with our parts they should contact us directly at HQ in Melbourne and we can try to solve it quickly , we do not always read the forums and things can get missed.
We have look at making the rectangle badge clips but the volume and the cost make them not viable although we are still looking for a better alternative.
The W clip as you call it yes we will be making them but they are sometime away.
Regards
Les
