generally if something is engineered in another state it has to be reengineered for NSW as our RTA don't accept reports from other states, so even if it was engineered in QLD it wouldn't be worth the paper it's written on

Yeah looks ok...... Any thoughts on the Guy not having an engineers? Am I asking for trouble?
I did the same with my FB wagon, started with a grey at rego time and then swapped to a red.
I had no intentions of selling the car so I never bothered with an engineers cert.
When I advertised it for sale I had a few people ask if it came with one, I told them it didn't and they didn't bother buying it.
The eventual buyer found out that even if it did it would still need to engineered in NSW again so there was on point ( as Mick said).
If this wagon is the rite price and condition I wouldn't let that stop me buying it.

Three things you need to consider.
The cost of transporting the car
The reengineering certifications
The purchase price.

The guy selling the fb ended the listing 5 hours early. I did not know you could do that. The price was at $7400 and rising!!!
