I've found my first love.

pity shes loved by another, but since i abused her shes better off without me.

maybe, just maybe, the 'Human' love of my life will let me get another to do up one day.

and i would look after that one... :)

When I bought her 6 years ago, she was in some serious need of a restoration. The Bloke I had bought her from had made a bit of a start, but I think he kinda ran out of momentum after a short while. I have a stack of pictures from the homecoming to now. as you can see, I have done this right. No short cuts. No half measures. Every square millimetre of this car has been stripped, repaired and sealed.

These are in just to show how extensive the rebuild was. She does however still have the fuel flap on the passenger side fin, I figured whoever did this did too good a job for me to remove it. I put the standard tank and filler back in, though. Oh yes and I kept the clock, that'a a no-brainer! The rear window still has the sticker from "personal best" on it (but I'll carefully remove it) The plates are still yours, I believe. Found a ticket from the Croydon Twin drive-in under the back seat. Thinking back on the amount of work makes my head spin! I'm glad I'm almost there.

These were taken near the start, and to post all the pics from the last 6 years would break the internet.
Once I get the motor back from the rebuild, and finish the few remaining interior and transmission items, its the test and sign-off with the engineer then to vicroads for some shiny new plates.
I'm hoping to get her on the road for the nationals in June. If you want to see her some time, you are welcome to.
