Is the tunnel section a hadfield one or you making it yourself?

The radiator plates look like they were made to be there, the chev won't let you put the radiator that far back bugger! I had to custom make my radiator and squeeze it foward of the radiator panels. That was fun and only got 15mm gap between the water pump and core!

The dodgy stands really are quiet solid.
I got the tunnel section from Gardner Conversions along with the wiring harness and a few other bits.

I thought I had to speed the progress up to catch up with you and Sam.

I finished the fitment of the radiator today and are now starting on filling in the corner sections of the subframe where I went a bit crazy with the grinder.
Then its on to the extractors.

O yeh Harko, the disc's are P76. I'm also looking to get a set of lowered spindles from Hadfields.

malcom just a tip on the drop spindles, make sure you have plenty of guard clearance, due to the fact the car is low but still has alot of suspension travel.
a couple of cars i had them on the front cross member would hit the ground before the bump stops made contact

Hi everyone,

Not a lot of progress but I thought I'd keep you all up to date with what I've been doing anyway.
Have finished fitting the radiator & brackets, finally got the wipers sorted by using a HG 2 speed motor and switch.
Fitted the oxygen sensors into the extractors.
Modified the original pedal box and made the brake pedal and accelerator pedal.
Fitted fitted the air cleaner box by having to recess it into the subframe. Still have to fit the cold air intake to that yet.
Fitted the new electronic speedo into the dash
Still in the process of fitting the fuel lines
Fitted the handbrake leaver to the new crossmember.

I'm not sure if many realise that a 57 Chev handbrake handle is exactly the same as the Holden handle. I only found this out when I saw a chromed 57 handbrake handle on ebay and thought it looked similar. So I sent away to USA for one. As it turns out it is the exact same one only in chromed alloy. As simple as take the original off and fit the new one on and only cost about $35.

The inside door handles are virtually identical as well, you can pick up a set of them on American epay for around $60 US - beats trying to clean up old ones !

I'm looking at fitting an autometer gauge to my car (to work with commodore ECU pulse) but im interested to know if that is an autometer gauge if not what is it ... looks like it will fit better than the one i was looking at!

good progress all round, i like what you've done with the air box, i have been contemplating how to fit mine in .... is there a hole in the bottom or something to get fresh air from the inner guard ?

that engine bay is starting to look full
hope i get to see this car in person one day when it's finished
at the rate he's going it will be at the nationals in june

Hey Row, they pop up on Ebay all the time. Or you can pull your one apart and redo the colours. Its easy I've done 3 all up now. One white backing/Black numbers, silver backing/black numbers and my own red/factroy green numbers. Nice rainy saturday arvo job.....

You haven't posted any pics of the extractors, I assume they fit between the rails?
