Gee if we get as much water as we had just before the event last year, I think we will all need the power boat just to get to the show and shine and swap meet.

Hopefully we get all the water out of the way now!

not as many old cars there as there will be commodores  :x wish they could organise it in order of age of the car so when you reach the limit of the model you don't want to look at you can turn around :)

Another great turn out by the Holden family today at Clarendon with well over 700 cars on display. The day was again very well organised and there were some very impressive vehicles that appeared for the first time at this event. The band today were excellent and started playing just after nine o'clock which is a most unacceptable time of day for most musicians.....they must have been either on triple time rates or die-hard Holden enthusiasts :D :D

Had a great day. The highlight for me was the FJ wagon. It was way over restored especially the two pac paint (too peelly and looked like plastic) but I just thought it was such a significant car that I could turn a blind eye to it. Its a shame they didnt go into production. The proportions were just right.
Of the four known survivors of an estimate of 13 no two are the same.
I also thought the Woody wagon had some potential for someone to actually do one in real wood. It wouldnt be that big a deal some silver ash, a steam box and some thin mahogany ply paneling would create a stand out car.
