I put a dozen new 3/8 nuts on the pot.
And you keep shaking the gun up before each pass.
It keeps the flake in suspension. No different to a pre mixed spray can you buy.
Have read about the dry aplication method, and would like to give it a try. But their could be a lot of lost material.
Different people have their own methods, and as long as it comes out with the look you are after. Thats all that matters.

Is THAT what you're 'sposed to do???
I've been doing it all wrong all these years...I block the nozzle off with my finger after every pass and "reverse blow" through the pot to mix it!! DUUURRRRR
