hey Paul, as you found out back in the day, extractors on a grey would have the most noticeable effect in conjunction with other modifications, such as cam, twin carbs, red motor valves and higher compression. :)

I had to give them a slight bash with a hammer to get my "landspeed" twin carb manifold on, but I now have a triple manifold that sits further out, Trev 8) .
