See, the power of research! Perth couldn't get the stamps right! Small FB & P large numbers, small numbers large P and FB, who knows!!!

Maybe it is just FB's? The EK looks right.

i have an fb panelvan with fb ---- a for adelaide on the firewall under bonnet and , fb ---- m for melb on inner guard .. apparently all original..? any ideas , did they add front ends in melb to van bodies made in sa ??

Ours isn't a Ute, its a sedan but I am a little disturbed because our number is stamped upside down on the inner guard, how inconsiderate it looks wrong and
I wish they did it the right way around, they must have had christmas drinks or something or is that normal for this number to be upside down
And on top of that the number is different from the inner guard and the I.D. plate on the firewall, and I can't find a plate to show the year

There is no plate with the build date on it - and the body number and chassis number are different so theres nothing to worry about mate .
