It was me .................... :D :D :D :D :D
My wagon is the one under cover.

But I didn't make him get it. He wanted it, I just did the buying.
He just wanted a manual one, preferably floor mounted.
What I made him do, was join the forum and post. :D :D

Although he doesn't seem to be responding again. :? :?

Thanks for all the positive words. If only you knew it was "ME".

Cal, that thing ? Harko was close !
Apparently he told me it's a "Flux Capacitor" Or the A/C or power steer  or the LPG unit. :D
Car runs a little rough on Petrol and misses at the start on acceleration, but on gas it purrs, flies and doesn't miss a beat.

Car looks good from a few feet away, but the paint and panel work is not that great. :( :(
No real rust but probably will need to be stripped back and a respray at some stage.
Paint is actually good, just the prep work sucked big time.

He was driving his Honda, but it cooked it self. Fixed and back on the road again now, but the EK still needs some repairs, so he's back to driving it again.
I would have to admit, that it is a big difference, even with the enhanced mods.

So many things on the Honda Preludes, beyond my repair ability.
His is a 5 speed also, so happy to have the same in the EK.
EK also has central locking, which is nice to have, but may need to change that steering wheel.

Good to see these cars driven by P platers, it means we'll have someone to carry on preserving these great old Holdens. My kids have been brought up around old cars all their lives and my son likes nothing better than getting out in the shed and working on his utes (WB & HX).
As far as the duel fuel goes, mate I had a 351 in a &*#@ 30 model pickup and it was on duel fuel when I brought it and I could never get a happy compromise regarding tuning it. A mate in Canberra who is up to speed with LPG said just get it set up for straight gas so on went the Impco 425,had the dissy recurved as gas needs a "hotter spark" so I was told and once tuned it was a different car. The heads had already had the valve inserts when the motor was rebuilt to run unleaded.

Good luck with the EK and I'm sure you'll personalise it and make it your own
