That is Tony the Fruiterer. He has run this shop since Moses wore sandals.
he started selling from an old tin shed in front of his house till the council jumped on him. He responded by building a concrete one. They havent been able to do anything with him since.

G'day all.

Well after all our hard work I got to enjoy the fruits of our labor. Took Faye Beth for her 1st realy drive & took her home. She went really well, didint skip a beat..

On one note it was really exciting, but on another sad! sad to be leaving the company of my man Dave...

But the plan is to drive her around for a few weeks, & see what mechanical problems pop up. 1 has already, its the thrust bearing, making a very strange noise when cold, once she warms up it goes away, but we have booked he in back at Dave in 4 week & any thing else that pops up.

So next satdi we r off to a nice picnic, me & the two Misses.

One highlight was driving the ute with the Misses "Dajana" next to me in the bench seat, arm around her shoulders.. tell ya! doesn't get much better than that!!! aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa fell the serenity....

Sorry not photos this week, but next week we will have some more.

Ok till then.

ciao

hey scotty,
yer long story, ej taco out coz of wrong tires, so it messes with my head. so just to make it easier, I had to write it down. 50 MPH on Ej is 70KML?????

Yer dont try this at home, I picked a quiet road, but held camera in my right hand!!!

Thanks Steward, she drive very smooth. heaps of fun too, couldnt help but giggle a little.

"gday all,
sorry have not post any updates for a while, have been working away quietly, trying to get a few finishing touched b 4 the nationals.

Spent last 2 weekends cleaning up the undercarriage. It was pretty good, but had a few patched of surface rust that needed sorting out... so thats all done now.

So this weekend, it's off to get the gearbox / thrust bearing problem sorted out, makes a really bad noise when cold, thats progressively been getting worse.

Then the final touches on the wood for tray & we'll b ready for Nats.

sorry quality of photos is bad???
