Hi Greg,
Good to see you're back into it.
I thought not hearing from you for a while you might have been going to surprise us and show us finished photo's.
Nothings happening with my new project at the moment either, nor will it for some time as I'm moving towns. Staying in the same job just relocating so that means packing everything up and putting it into storage until I get resettled.
Anyway, get into it Greg and keep up the good work.

Hi guys,
Thanks for the encouragement. Ive been having shoulder problems and it appears I have torn rotator cuffs. This means operations so I am going to hit the car before I go in. (Such is life).
Yes stewart NOS its the only way to go if you can find them.

Hi again,
Well it was a really productive weekend for me, thanks to all that have responded in lieu of my dramas

.
Cleaned the inner sill in prep for painting

I used POR 15 metal ready to start with cause it kills any rust and leaves the metal with a slight bluish tinge of zink sulphate, just the thing when spraying zinc cold gal. The electrical industry uses the cold gal for painting earth rods and lasts in the open forever.

Put all the panels back on lined everything up (took me all day) and the sill is ready for its final welding. Hopefully during the week

And yes its been a long time since I drove the old girl in anger. I am really chompin at the bit but still I have a long way to go!!
Regards Greg

Thanks for the tips and the great photos! My next job is to replace the inner and outer sills on my wagon, so you've given me a good idea on whats involved. Keep up the great work!

Back again guys,
Mal door gaps will be the usual extend unless I can think of something else.
Sill is now complete so I've moved on to the tunnel.
Originally I was going to use a Hadfield tunnel but dont like the look of the front piece. The auto tunnel is much wider although a little more dificult to put in.
Donor tunnel

Hole cut roughly

Trial fit

Whats left of the donor car.
Anyway progress is slow but steady, will do more over the weekend.

keep on going with it Greg. Lookin good. Don't think too far ahead of what you have to do...think of what you've done...that's what I do anyway...and I'm still a long way off as well...
Hey that sedan in the last pic might be a restorer for someone?

convertible maybe?...thanks again for the petrol tank surround and other steel bits...
