Love this Ute Gazza.
Your post has been great.
So much looking forward to seeing it completed.
I really like the colour & patina on the outside.

Bit of time on the ute while the wagon dries
Rust blast and red oxide for the rub through on the patches

I’ll see how it goes
Looking forward to giving the new touch up gun a run

Good stuff Gary.
How do you find Rustblast? I’ve been using Ranex Rustbuster which works fine but unless you prime over it straight away after it dries, it’ll start rusting again pretty quickly. I just read the Rustblast info after seeing your post and it says you can wait about 30 days before it’ll rust again.
I bought the same mini gun a while back and should be using it soon for the first time. I’d be interested to know what you think of that too.
Cheers,
John

Hi John
Love the rust blast works a treat I use the rust seal in the cavities also, I did the inside of both my utes and the undercarriage of the wagon
Cheaper buying 4 litres $50 as to $26 for a litre
I’ll let you know how the gun goes
I also picked up the PPS disposable cup system the cups are only $1:20 each saves a lot of cleaning and you can store paint in them
