Have to agree look'n great, just had a quick reread, the SCW f/e part amused me, exactly the same for me, except for the God DBogga bit, no coilovers, no pads, that was after 18mths, back in 2018/19 so at least things have improved a little.
Keep up the good work.
Cheers

Hahaha I actually said to Tim last night looking at the front end all complete and powder coated looking pretty almost makes you forget about how much of a pain in the arse he was to deal with.
How does yours drive with the front end? I’m interested to see how it handles.

............. and I traded it as part of the deal to buy an FJ ute - it now lives under an EK ute in Perth. I wish I still had it as I need another now to put under the 2 door....... that's why I was asking about the Street Machine garage ones - I have yet to find anyone who has bought one let alone driven one

Well the cyclone up here cost me a weekend of progress which sucked.
Have been trying to make up some time. Thankfully paint and body work is done. Epoxied, seam sealed, areas visibility sealed, final coat of epoxy then final finishes on top. Anything external got raptor anything interna/visible done in 2K.
Doing things so that if down the track I want to do body work and paint on the outside of the car it’s pretty much minimised to a closed door respray.
With the protection of modern products and the fact this car will be very well looked after and maintained its should pretty much outlive me now.

Looking good. Did you have to reinforce the fenderwell header cutouts?
Cheers,
Harv

That subframe has been chopped and modified heavily to get everything to fit. Hasn’t been mentioned to date as an issue. Biggest concern so far has been clearance issues.
Big day today, subframe mounted. Was a bit of a mongrel and working with stuff your trying not to scratch adds complexity.
Fuel lines in, tailshaft loop in, front end in, brake booster in, power steering in. Engine and trans in, shifter mounted, ac compressor mounted.
Going together really well. Fresh finishes, new hardware and fasteners looking like a new car. Rewarding part of the build for sure.
