Clay you are acting like a wanker. Well duh it's got tripples, a fuel pressure regulator, a three way splitter and a cute little guage to go on.

I did my collapsible column much the same as you slite differences as long as it works, your car and mine and a few others on here are not factory so you have to do what you can to make it work , I am nearly bald from the problems i have encounter but their are people on hear to help . Clay has helped me in the past so have many others i wood take what is said with a grain of salt it 's very disheartening that other's don't see the big picture as you , I think you are doing a marvel's job and in record time as well Please keep posting as I enjoy the read it has got that way that I can't do very much on my build due to my health so I have to leave it up to my son to finish it.

Brett I’ve been really enjoying your build and the path you have gone with your car. Mate it’s your car to do with what you like so whilst others have an opinion on the orientation of your fuel pump there are others that are not offended in any way shape or form with how you are bringing this car back to life from the rusted relic it was. I hope we do see some more posts but I appreciate where your coming from. The information you are sharing is invaluable to people like me with limited knowledge of cars and restoration. I know all this stuff takes time to articulate into a forum like this and I appreciate you have taken the time to do so as I know I will be referring to your build as I work on the EK.

Maybe Clay thought that you hadn’t noticed the pump was not set up as original and was only trying to help anyway I like the other comments above don’t want you to stop posting I really appreciate what you have achieved and look forward to seeing what comes.
You’ve seen my build I’m a bloody modifier and couldn’t care if your fuel pump was upside down mate don’t stop posting.

Seems I didn't know you as well as I thought. Obvious now that you interpret my frankness as patronising. For that have apologised and am genuinely sorry.

I don't expect t you to retract the comment that I am acting like wanker, and I am not going to be so frank as you in commenting on your current behaviour. Your remark that 99% of forum members wouldn't have a clue in relation to some of the modifications you have undertaken, and your intention to punish other forum members because you didn't like one particular comment made by one individual, you no doubt made in the heat of the moment and may now wish to reconsider.

I hope you are keeping a picture record (with words?) for yourself elsewhere (one of the reasons I enjoyed posting progress of my various builds on forums).

Now that I'm not building anymore it's good to be able to look back on a build in one spot (intermingled with the banter and pics of beer that usually occur on forums). As it turned out it was also handy for Shane to look at before he bought the latest one.

Some aircon pics since a few have asked for them. Unit is a Vintage Air Mini Gen 2 which does heater, demister and cooling. Rencool MD18 electric compressor. Will run on speed 1 setting which draws about 40amps. 140amp alternator fitted. Very tight fit in dash and glove box is now just a lid. Couldn't fit a fourth vent on drivers side because hose won't fit. Three vents should be enough with floor vents as well. Still waiting on a hose to finish. Liquid hose from condensor runs under floor, suction hose runs on floor and under carpet. There are any number of hose placement options, these work for me. I may install an electric fan on condensor depending on head pressures and need.

Probably an obvious one, but do you have to measure and get the hoses all made up with the kit, or do the hoses after you install everything?
