attached are a few pics ..
i have a questions for experts on the forum .. i have fitted the motor with enough clearance to fit the VN sump un modified but it means the engine will sit a 15 % sloping back wards (see pic) will this angle effect to running of motor ?

Dave,
Going in a different direction hey ?
I'm pretty sure Malcolm had some vibration because of the angles between the motor and diff.
Not sure how much they can lean but 15 degrees to me just looks to much. What was it in the donor car ?
Lots of spagheti hope it all works
Good update.
Regards Greg

yeah /greg im not to keen on it not sure what the engine angle was in donor vn, but with out major tunnel mods that was the best i could get, if it doesnt work out too much vibration, then i will be a tunnel mod but thought i give it a go as see how bad it was .. ps your cars coming along slowly

15 degrees sounds a bit much to me too , and why are yuo using the complete harness , are you using VN guage cluster , air cond , etc ?
The VN has an engine harness that is pretty simple to modify to a stand alone engine harness , then you can use your FB/EK harness for all the other bits such as headlights, indicators , guages etc.

i have actually got the angle down to 8 deg using red motor mounts , as for the wiring i agree blacky but the ek wiring needed to be re done so thought id use the complete vn loom .. and it was a head ache, almost tossed it a few times as it would have been easier to wire it from scratch but got it all sorted so thats history now ..

all repaired now and painted gloss black

LH frontend installed and all seem to be going well

this is not the ride height ,, but now with spring and shockers fitted there stuff all bounce in the front end may be a till to stiff

well its coming to an end ,,
on reflection i think i would have gone the Wallingtons front end for $3500 bolt in . when i added up cost of lh front end and the work , bushes $400, shockers and springs $250 , csr sump $650 , hopper brakes $1200 and theres will used std vn sump and comes with coil over and commodore brakes ,,
still was a great project and learning experience just need to touch the paint up and re assemble the bling and i should be cruising again ,,

added a programable ecu as well

the old spring compared to new ones not sure what the old one where but they where rock hard nnext to no moverment so went for 30 mm lowered could have gone 50mm
