Hey Harko,
nice chopping mate, cant wait to see some more progress shots.
did you work out Smooth Customs wagon side glass trick??
I reckon you'd slot the lower panel then glue it up at the seal, but i'm guessing.
what are you using for glass mechanisms in the rear quarter?
I always thought old toyota celica would be easy to find and adapt.
keep up the hard work, good to catch up at the nostalgia drags last weekend.
Cheers
Ed

Its great you guys have some hope with me "Excluding Ratbox

"
Mini your right ,ve been hanging off buildings 60 metres in the air by my legs passing steel tube from the guy below me to the guy above me

Takes a bit out of me every day .
I still yearn to drive it more than any other car I own
Right now Ive been doing an engine swap in the family hack for rego which I have issues with ,Its a VN and the only worth in it is for a family car so I dont want to pump any more money ,time or effort in than is needed .
Then I have to get the paint on a panelvan and THEEEN the EK
Heres a pic for us all to get the shits over ....
Its showing no progress but I have used photoshop to drop it down to ride height ,smoothed out the paint and finished the edges
Im feeling that Ive nailed the proportions - any comments ?
PS Is there any chromies out there yet ?

i'm not giving up on the for sale section

(or maybe it's just wishfull thinking

)
looks good to me

i had an idea that i'm not gunna use

on the rear pillar the surface rusty looking section between where the door frame would be and the gutter, if possible without weakening to much remove it to give the roof rail a more sleaker look try it with photoshop i would but i'm useless

Hi Harko,
I really want to see this one finished.......... love it to death..
Like the first pic - think it "holds" a bit of the "mustang look falcon" (they stole that from Chev!) bit in the rear seat body line - I believe that "makes" the look - doesn't seem to do it so much for me in the second pic.
I'm a dinosaur, I'm afraid............
don't stop - sleep isn't an option for this one, any more.........
frats,
Rosco

Yep defenitely &*#@ induced ah I mean &*#@ influenced ,I spent much of my youth losing my licence in a XM coupe hence the roofline , Kinda looks customlinish on an EK I reckon but very American influenced...
Love EKs ,Love Chevs and spent time in a pillarless coupe

Nostalgia is for old fellas hehe Ive just tapped in on that one early
