Thanks fellas  . Yeah, some of the old repairs were woeful, looked like someone had fixed it up in a hurry to try and sell it at some stage of it's life.

Just goes to show that even if the car looks ok from the outside, you don't know what nasty's lie underneath :econfused:

More progress

Front and rear bumpers went on. The back one was a bit of a bastard to put on. Thanks again Scotty for the rear over riders and number plare lights

Brand new door handles went on, plus door trims and internal handles and window winders

New quarter vent window rubbers

We then tried puttibg on the front screen using the original rubber. It started breaking apart when Dave tried installing the screen. Dave had recently bought a Rares rubber for his FB, so we decided to trial fit it to see if we can use it on my car. Obviously miracles don't happen.

The recess where the windscreeen sits in the rubber is just not deep enough, as you can notice by the marks left from the old rubber. i'll be ordering a Betta rubber on Monday to go with the back one I bought last week

Highlight of the day was going for a hair raising ride in this beast. 427 cubes of American muscle :eugeek:

Next up is install seatbelts, front and back screens, interior, some underbody paint then hopefully that's it
