I toyed with that idea at one stage Rat but someone in perth has done it and it didn't look as good as I thought it would. But I have other ideas yet to be seen.....

yeah i'm not sure my self not overly keen on the real toothy look like desoto or as i've seen a couple of times a bunch of FB/EK overriders i quickly sat it there the other day and wasn't to keen but i wanted to cut and shut it to bring it back into proportion

Hey guys,

Another couple of days off and a couple of more jobs done.

Electric window all fitted up and working, not to much trouble there. I used the Dolphin Brand mech's. They were sourced from the US of A direct and saved myself a few hundred big ones. Just have to get the new full piece front windows made now. Decided to use the standard rear windows with the quater glass as I didn't think the full rear window looked right.

Also have fitted the electric boot release. This I used a Commodore boot lock, then made a bracket and fitting it to the lower boot panel and then mounting the catch in the boot lid, will be filling all the holes in the boot lid for that clean look.

Just waiting for the mandrel bends to turn up to do the tail pipes. Also decided on use the Vintage Air A/C unit. Will post more picks when that gets underway.

Cheers

Price was $386 for the 4 doors landed on my door step.
