Finally more progress on the FB after the EK Nationals ....
Door trims back on. back chrome on and front almost finished.

What's that funny looking canister thing to the left of the engine bay and the pipes on the right hand side?
is it a rare nasco "thing a magig" or an air conditioner?

It's most likely a vacuum tank for either vacuum trailer brakes and/or extra vacuum for the uphill runs with FB vacuum wipers.Gives the wipers extra bit of go on uphill runs until the vaccum is depleted.
Would probably have a line to the inlet manifold somewhere.
See ads for 'em in old magazines from the '60's early '70's.
Dunno if it's a NASCO option ??
