Hi Greg,
we know you've had your inbox full but it would now appear you've caught up with the backload............

You don't know how I envy you with your shed and a hoist too.................!
- mind you, my back gets a really good straightening after a few hours on concrete....................I find it especially good after a couple of days curled up in the boot..............

Don't run out of years............... I'm going to - with what I have waiting to get done..............

frats,
Rosco

can someone explain to me this tank thing...

i have a wagon... is this a better option for me as well if so why...

thanks
matty martin
matty just a larger tank and the spare lays flat in a recess in the tank not that wagons have to worry about that

Guys,
Sorry but Ive been flat out with other things.
I have just come back from Bathurst racing the old studebaker.

All I can say is F$*%!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I was clocked at 250KM/H and Im one of the slower tin tops!!
Man! what a blast the car shakes and steps sideways on the bumps and you have to pray that you can stop after each lap.
Done it once and now Im hooked on the place. I know why most car racers love the joint.

I will post some new pictures tomorrow of the tank from underneath as its on the hoist at the moment.

Regards Greg

Hey Greg,

I went around Bathurst once in my 4x4. Didn't think I'd make it to the top and then the missus nearly shit her self coming down. It must be a great thrill going around the track quick.

Any way funs over, get back into the EK.

Cheers

We took a quick spin around in a well handling commodore ,The combination of thinking we were on Mt Panorama and I was caining the bajeesus outta the commodore led to the mate wanting out of the car , Then I had an audience :) and went faster and faster untill it went up on 2 wheels hehe I knew it was quittin time then

Greg.

I had noticed in last weeks Auto Action, there is a great shot of your Stude coming down Conrod Straight, ..................and guess what else I noticed!. "That there was a little mini right up your arse". Hope he didn't overtake you
Looked like you had a ball.................... You know I'm just jealous

"Gee wizz".......also looks like you will have to do a rebuild on the Stude as well, as she looks to be blowing a bit of weed.
Thats 2 vehicles you have now posted that do not meet EPA requirements.

Thought I'de modify that one a little so its a bit more respectable.

i thought the stude was smokey too  but if you look at the first pic you'll seem to notice no smoke around the stude and lots seeming to come from the shitbox escort

Guys,
Good to see everyones interested in the dinosaur class (as some of the younger dudes call it).
No john just past the mini at that spot.
Bloody escort flies Ratbox he beat me all weekend ( only just though next time ill get him)
Yes its a customline 1959 model. The big blue thing is a 64 Galaxie and the Pacer up back, well it wasn't on the pace this weekend.
Any way back to the EK. Here are some pics of the tank for mattymartin

I cut the boot out and used an angle on the inside to support the tank, then folded 10mm of floor back inside and welded it to the angle this is the result from underneath.

I made up some deep saddles for the diff, this eliminates lowering blocks.
I am now going to concentrate on the EK cause its been sitting idol long enough, will keep you all posted.
