not really i'm waiting on the head so then i can put the engine togeather and put it in, then move on to the next bit

slow progress doing 2 cars and i'm in no hurry with either :lol:
firewall and under floor painted just used honey beige in memory of fallen heros :eh:

got the motor togeather colour is sposed to be early holden red with just a couple of chrome bits, with a bit of luck and some enthusiasm i might have a go at starting it in the next week or 2

It should'nt be too bad when it comes to an engineers O.K., it's pretty tame and would be more solidly built than a stock Torana.

thanks guys I've allways wanted a blower and something a bit different so a blown red motor :thumbsup: they're not super rare but also aren't everywhere

i'll get on it harv in a few days i'm tied up in Sydney with a sick rello I can tell you it's a newby manifold

Cool little 371, these are harder to find than you think. I had a 471 tucked away for a windsor but for different reasons it didn't happen :(

very cool little package mick , im liking the individuality of the whole deal , you could join a hotrod club , panelvan, austin club ,attend holden days ,rat days etc etc ticking a few boxes.

not sure about the Austin club they used to seriously frown on modded cars :lol: when we had the V6 sedan we were trying to find out info like identifying year model etc, the guy was happy to talk to us then asked about our car all was good till we mentioned the V6 he actually turned and walked away while I was still talking to him :shock: :roll: that's probly why I give restorers a little more grief than I should :oops: :lol: but all is ok i'm not into clubs at all they are just to bitchy and to much back stabbing :problem:
