i don't often tell people what to do with there cars but please don't do that,
go with international or something simular maybe even the long oval mercedes lights,
more a modern look but i've liked the late mini layed back round lights mercedes and a couple of others have the same style

Don't listen to anyone Mick Jagger...your design has merit...
here's my take on what you've got so far..

If you roll pan the underside with a matching bonnet section it'd look something like this

Here is a copy of the issue of Newsledder that Paul mentioned earlier.
It is from issue #31, June/July 2001.

As Paul mentioned, the FB/EK was used as a design subject on 3 occassions, here is another version which I personally would love to see done. Issue #13, Jan/Feb '98.

This does look better than having a Bumper under the bottom set of lights.
I love the Mec headlights that Rob did to Theo's car, nice, Trev
